Fashion Show for Raleigh Fashion Week, to benefit Girls Rock, NC at SOLAS on Glenwood Ave, downtown from 2-5
Fashion Rocks Raleigh, which was put on by Lauren Skye (Jessica) and Clothes Hound (Bryce); Girls Rock NC is a nonprofit that runs to encourage girls to be confident, creative members of their communities, you can visit their website at http://www.girlsrocknc.org/
Christina, Miss Teen NC and I arrived around 10am and we tried on our clothes for the show and had doughnuts and coffee! Then we went to Hairdo (a sponsor of the event) and had our hair done by the fabulous Jill (owner of Hairdo) and our makeup done by the wonderful Heather! They did such a great job of making sure we all had something to eat and drink, and whatever we needed to be ready for the show! When we headed back to Solas, everything and the runway was set up! We were all three together; LaDaria, Christina and I! And we had a great time together! There were 7 models and we had 3 outfits each with shoes and jewelry for different styles of the fashion show: Brunch Wear; Wedding Season; Day to Night; Beach Day; Date Night; and Girls Night! It was all so cute, and we all looked great (thanks to all the help—ha ha)!!! We all stuck around for dinner, and my parents even made the trip to come see us walk or “rock” the runway! Thank you to the great ladies who put on the fashion show and who let us participate! We had a great time, for a great cause!!!!
